They are going about this correctly, with the petition and whatnot. However, I don't think this ban will ever see the light of day. At least it shouldn't. If you don't like anime, DON'T BUY IT.

Anime will never get banned. It would be like banning music or the newspaper. I wouldnt worry about loosing this artform any time soon.

While they are banning things that are corrupting the youth of America, can they also take care of domestic made filth and stupidity and perversity? You know what I'm talking about: Nip/ Tuck, I love New York, Flavor of Love, Survivor, The View, Oprah (OK,OK... that last one was a cheap shot....)....!

Dont worry, it will never happen. They cannot ban it, its against all human rights. If you dont like anime....DONT WATCH IT. Simple as that, they dont need to go and inconvenience others just because THEY dont like something. Very selfish.

I don't think that will happen because Economically It help boost both America and Japan's Economies In the Buisness area both Pokemon,Digimon,DBZ,Gundam and I remember manage too have sales.
I remember when they first showed Tenchi Muyo on Cartoon Network sales of the DVD's at Sun Coast kept selling out.

Also, who's trying to ban it? this sounds like crap. The petition doesn't really list any sources. It sounds very uninformed and/or fake.
But seriously, if I wasn't so anti-censorship I'd vote to ban it. Not cause it's going to poison our youth or any crap like that. It's just annoying
