Addison - from a surname meaning "SON of ADAM".

So to anyone who claims this name is "all girl" and "no part masculine", do some research first.

It is also the name of a disease, Addison's Disease.

Sooo, Son of Adam, Addison's Disease, not the cutest name for a little boy or a girl, in my opinion. If you like the nickname Addie, may I sugest Adele, Adeline, or Adelaide for a girl? Those are legit, feminine names.

Definitely unisex name but I think it is considered more feminine because of the closeness to Madison.

So many boys names switch over to girls names though so if you like it, use it.

What nickname would you use for a boy though...long name to not have a nn.

Good Luck! SD

I think it sounds very much like a great name for a boy! But then again all the boy names I like are being used on girls like Jayden, Avery...
