i'm about 5'9" and right now I can touch the bottom of the backboard... which product is more effective in getting a higher vertical jump?

Neither, its all natural. Im 5`1 13 yrs old and I can touch the backboard. I actually did use equipment like that. You wanna know what happened? I got tendonitis in both my knees. My doctor said its better to just do natural exercises. Dont make the mistake I made, just do exercises.

Jumpsoles all the way. I was in your same situation. I was about 5'7 and could touch the bottom of the rim (u kno that little orange part where it connects to the backboard). I got jumpsoles, and like a week later I could get rim. Don't listen to the testimonials on the jumpusa.com website though b/c those are insane, but Jumpsoles do work very well.

air alert, but do it in lower reps, for example, if it was do it 100 times, you should do it like 50-70 times, if you foollow the program airlaert correctly, your knees will be amputated after week 5, good luck, ; )
