Has anybody ever had this problem....?

Question

I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced dry nipples, or know a reason why it happens? I was thinking it could be due from the cold weather, but I'm just wondering if there is something else that it could be caused from.

When I say dry, I mean like extremely dry, like scaly skin (kind of gross, I know!)

Yup im having the same problem go buy lotion made by vasiline its called vasiline healing lotion its works great and yeah it is due to the cold weather i have been to a doc for it and this is what he said it was from and recamended i use

Every winter I have this problem. Find a really thick lotion like Eucerins Aquaphor or Bag Balm (not bomb). Bag Balm works best for me but its made for cows udders (which may freak you out) and it has a smell to it, not a bad one, but other lotions are pretty odorless. Every night before you go to bed take a pea-sized amout of the lotion and rub it in till its gone. In about a week you should have no more scales.

I think its just the cold weather and all the dry heat that makes it happen, because every winter, without fail, for the past 5 years I've had this problem. I use the lotion for a while, and it goes away until next winter.

maybe the soap your using is too harsh on your skins so maybe you could try using a moisturizer kinda soap just dont actually wash that area with the soap but let the soap and water run over them you know?...but yes i have experianced kinda like dry skin it goes away eventually though.good luck

it can be from the cold. when i was pregnant that happened a lot to me. i found that "bag bomb" works great. it's in a green tin and I've always found it at walmart.
