Curious if anyone has worked with this agency? They want to charge me $150 for a portfolio. This includes the paper, printing costs and I provide my own photos. Is this expensive? What if any experience have you had with Van Enterprises or other modeling agencies? This is a BBB agency. They have had 3 resolved issues in the past 36 months.

NEVER WORK for anyone that requires you to pay them. If they are a sincere agency they will want to pay you try the internation modeling agency in pittsburgh. I have three friends that were placed in very good jobs. One of my friends is a model at ***** sporting goods (50/per hr). The other is a fashion model in new york and they pay for his living,food, and all other expenses. The other was recently on the MTV show NEXT. She then got signed to move to there LA location in california.They bought her a car and pay for her tickets to come home.

If they have an issues(solved or not) they arent good. MY employer has been a member of BBB for SIX years and he has NO issues. When it comes to modeling THEY will pay YOU if they want you, not the other way around. Have you ever considered trying out for Americas Next Top Model. Chechk out there websites, auditions are VERY soon. See you there! :-)

As a general rule, you shouldn't have to spend ANY money if you are discovered by a legitimate modeling agency.
They should come to you, fly you out to LA, pay for tickets, hotel and everything. Again, you shouldn't have to pay one red cent.
If you have to start paying money out of YOUR pocket, it's a scam, it's BS, get the hell out.
They are trying to get you to spend 150 bucks on their shitty portfolio. Tell them to get lost.
Trust me on this.

go to any photo shop & establish an account, declare it as business cost latter. posibly start one of those web sites that are free & can hold multiple photos, that could help as well.
