birth control pills can do a lot to your emotional and physical state of your body. It can cause sex drive problems weight gain. can make you feel like you are P.M.S. all the time instead of just during that time of the month. Some people just can't tolerate it. as for the iud it has the same hormones in it as the pill this is why a good doctor would not recommend it if you are having problems with the pill.

I believe they can. I've been taking birth control pills for over 4 years, and about 3 months ago I stopped them, and my sex drive has gone way up!

Yes, birth control controls hormone levels which in return can create havoc. If you are having those types of problems, talk to your doctor about having the type of birth control you take changed.

Sadly yes it doesn...I stoped talking mine last week..It was really messing me up..my sex drive went way down and i'm just not myself anymore.. =-[
