Large populated areas probably would not be able to communicate, and travel would be next to impossiable.

This is strange because we were just talking of this very thing...I would do nothing except maybe see my family if possible and then spend the last few hours with my fiancee, just hold him and love him. He on the other hand thinks he would be fixing a safe place in which to hole up and try to survive if possible with his loved ones. Gathering enough food and water to last for all for a year.
