Let your grief process run its course, but also realize that death is a simple fact in life. I know that it's hard to let go and the pain of missing someone can be overwhelming. It's okay to grieve, and the pain will slowly lessen. You must accept these facts of life and move toward enjoying the remaining days YOU have. Life is so short and as you experience other deaths throughout your life, you'll begin to realize that those individuals would want you to pick yourself up and live on. Be grateful that you had the opportunity to have them in your life and then move forward with your life. Create love.

Wouldn't you want to be remembered with a smile instead of a tear?
Time, nothing but time is the only cure.. It helps a little if you think of only happy things about this person, just the happy stuff! Don't think of them sick, hurt or gone. Just a little memory that makes you smile that's the way I'd want to be remembered wouldn't you?

Listen, I hate to say it But it is 100% true.

THERE IS NO EASY WAY TO GET OVER IT

I lost my dad at 18 years old and i'm 25 now. I still cry and it hurts bad knowing he is NEVER coming back.

Just know TIME will heal it. It Wont make it better but it will heal over time. I'm really sorry this happened to you.

Time heals all wounds physical and emotional.

I am so sorry about you loss! I know that the death of a friend is one of the most devastating experiences one can deal with. IN truth there is no "cure" for grief, you just have to let it run its course, don't worry, things will get brighter... just let it all out now. *hug*
