The DNA will be from another woman and from you so your wife's genes will not be passed to the baby. Most women pick a donor egg from a person who is similar looking.

Of course the kids will NOT resemble your wife.
If you proceed with this and tell your child when he/she is old enough, be prepared for your child to want to go find the donor mother. This seems to be the trend. Kids who have been created by a donated egg or sperm who are looking for their, what they call "biological" parent, are on the rise. I know a man who donated his eggs 20 years ago and had a 19 year old girl show up on his door step saying she was his daughter!!!!! Biologically speaking, she was but ......... whoa, I'd freak if I were he!!! He donated his sperm in college for extra money!!! IKES.

Maybe. it might turn out lookinglie the father adopting is always a good solution too. There are way to many kids that don't have a family.
