Well, if it's my team they can't win big enough. But, at the same time, a back and forth game with great play on both sides is the best scenario for any game.

I like seemingly unwinnable games like the Monday Night Comeback in which the Jets were down 30 points and managed to score four touchdowns in the fourth quarter to send the game into an overtime where they kicked the winning field goal. Another nailbiter was when the Packers were down 21 points with 4 minutes left in regulation against the Buccaneers in 2003, and erased the deficit to force the game into overtime, where a field goal (the second, since the first missed, but an opposing player incurred a penalty that allowed the kick to be replayed) won the game.
I also like very close games that go down to the wire, and sometimes much further. I remember sitting at a bar and watching the Razorbacks play the Wildcats, and the score went back and forth until they entered the first overtime, then the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, and the last overtime, the seventh. The final score was something like 70-63 and when I checked my watch, I realized I'd been sitting there transfixed for five hours.

Generally I do prefer the close competitive game. Occasionally I like to see a blowout against a rival team(my NFL team being the Dolphins blowing out Buffalo, New England, or the New York Jets, and my college alma-mata Cal Poly blowing out U C Davis).
This year for example Cal Poly had home blowouts in both the 1st and last games of the year. By late in the 1st half of each I was getting bored on how easy it was to beat the other team, and was just wanting the game to hurry up and get over with.

blowout, because winning with a field goal at the end of a game is like winning a basketball game at the end with free throws

I like both of them I guess. But the ones that are REALLY close, like the Colts/Patriots game last night was STRESSFUL and a NAILBITER! Ugh! I'm glad that the Colts won though!
