PSP Firmware Question?

I am thinking of buying a psp. What version firmware are the most of the psp's that are in stores now?

it depends where you will buy it..because here in north america most of the versions are 2.6 or higher..maybe on other country have the same version as well..

You can search the web for a website that will tell you the box codes that reveal the firmware. That's what I did.
