drive it for a couple miles and it would die. right before it would die, the window wiper would go on and the RPM gauge would be at zero. Battery or alternator? or something else?

best way to test the alternator, get it started then while its running pull the positive battery cable of (the red one) and if it dies its the alternator

Get the alternator and battery test. You can get these tested at a parts store like Autozone for free. Sounds like a alternator. If you replace it also replace the battery.

Could be both.... Sounds like the alternator isnt charging the battery, which isnt holding much of a charge itself.... change both

Id change the alternator first - if you put a new batt in annd its your alternator - it will drain the new batt as well...

Try the charging relay. Sounds like it's nearly shot and causing a direct short that's grounding out the systems.
