Well, im gonna be a senior in a couple of years...it will be here before i know it! At my dance studio, in our spring recitals, the seniors get solos to show what they have learned throughout the years and as a goodbye kind of thing from the studio. Well i have begun to look for songs and havent had any luck so i was wondering if you would help?? I would like them to be kind of lyrical like--whcih is a slow song with a kind of strong beat behind it. And i would like them to be about leaving and opening a new door and moving on with life but still having memories of the places being left. That kind of thing, so if anyone has any ideas that would be wonderful!! Thanks soooo much!!!!

I'm not sure who they are by but there are lots of diffrent versions

I dont have any ideas for a song, but I have a suggestion. If you still have a few years before then, why not try to write your own song lyrics and get someone to help you with the music.

Sailing by Christopher Cross.
It was a perfect song on our Family Golf Reunion night.
My Dad sang it and it was fantastic!
You should really go for it.
