My cousin and her mother live in Slovakia (slovak republic) but I have not been able to locate them. I sent a letter to the last known address I had, but didn't receive a response, and looked the mother up in the Slovak phone book (zoznam) but I cant find her name there.
Does anyone know if there is another way possible to locate the mother?

P.S. I live in the USA and I do NOT speak Slovak, not even a little.

Are there any other family members who have more info on where they might be?
You really need more info. Try getting help from a Slovakian Consulate in the U.S. At least they'll be able to take care of the language part for you and might be able to point you in the right direction as to how to do this. On your own, it won't be easy.

All places have directories of people staying there with their names,numbers,and addresses,have you tried phoning the municipality and asking them if they have such a directory or maybe go check out a website that have those directories

Is there a city clerk's office? A registrar, a mayor's office you can call? That might help.
