I am you.
I dated my high school boyfriend for one year, we were 18, and we had sex.
The good thing about it is that when you've been together that long, you know that it's love. You know you are not being used. You know that your relationship is not based on sex.
I am very sad for people who lose their virginity to someone they barely know, or to someone who they don't love. What a sad waste.
Get birth control. Be responsible. Decide that no matter what happens, if either of you change your mind it's okay. Remember that sex is a big deal. If things don't end up working out between you, respect each other and don't jump in the sack to quickly with your next boyfriend.
Ultimately it's your decision. But I will tell you that I don't regret my decision. Even though we ended up breaking up a few years later.

If you are not concerned with moral or religious factors sex between a mature 17 year old with protection and the fore thought to have your partner tested for stds and a 19 year old that are comitted to each other in love and harmoney is normal in most cultures except ares. Even in other culters it is not even considered morally wrong. Also if one or the other feels pressured by either the new morality or each other I don't feel the time would be right for you!!!

Sex outside of marriage is wrong and can cause you to spend eternity in Hell. Look up the word fornication in a dictionary and you will see that it is a serious thing with Jesus. Sex was designed to be shared in marriage. If you aren't married, you aren't supposed to do it. If you are married, you are to do it only with the person to whom you are married or you are committing adultery which also can cause you to be sent to Hell. Age has nothing to do with it. Without a marriage license and a ceremony either by a judge or a minister, you aren't supposed to have sex with anyone.

I think it's ok when you think it's ok. Everyone is different. You both have to agree that it's right. I was 15 my first time so I definitely think that 17 or 19 is just fine. Just be safe!

this is what my dad told me about sex.. if you can look at the other person and can see yourself sitting across the dinner table every single night for the rest of your life then its ok to have sex but if not then take some noassitol ( meaning no *** at all ). this is true mostly not because you have to get married now days but because what if you mess up and get preg? then for at least 18 yrs you will be involved in this persons life every day.

the 19 year old should not do this with a minor or it is statutory rape. If you were both underage or over 18, as soon as you know how to use birth control properly.

Sex is OK only when both people are ready to be having sex and not until then. If either of the parties involved are having doubts, then it is not OK.

Generally, sex at that age can be great, and can be a headache. But, they shouldn't be worried about age at all if they made sure they both wanted it, agreed on when and where they would do it.

Sex is always okay, so long as both partners are above the age of 12. If you are not 12 yet, both of Yo Mamas will get pissed off.
