there are a few really good guitar tab sites. tabcrawler.com guitartabarchive.com or just type in guitar tab in the yahoo search box and that will list all sorts of tab sites. But tabcrawler has always worked really well for me.

Just search the name of the song your looking, then add guitar or tab to it. I find the best to be 911tabs and ultimate guitar.
Ex:

Over the Rainbow guitar tab
(Which is by the way an awesome acoustic song.)
Then a good source'll come up. Its really simple.

Seriously, don't rely on internet tab as it's often wrong. You want to learn, get a good teacher. A teacher can show you what you're doing right and wrong, a web site can't.
I'd also suggest buying a good tab book, get one from an artist you like, and make sure it says on the cover "Authentic off the record transpiration."

Just google the song + the words "guitar tab" afterwards. You'll get many options. Some of the tabs are also rated so you can know what souns the best.

You will have better luck just going to a music store to find the actual music. Due to copyright laws and such basically all the sites that we used to use for guitar tabs are like all shut down.
