I just got a MP3 phone and have transferred a couple of songs into it, I thought I would be able to use them as ringtones, but it won't let me do it. So, can I only get music ringtones from the website of the service provider? Cingular is my provider, they have a lot of music ringtone choices but the ringtones I really want aren't available. Is there a way to getting around that, i.e. the songs I transfer to the MP3 phone be my ringtones?

Additional details:
My phone is a Sony Ericsson w810i.
On my "Sounds & Alerts" setting menu, I've already tried setting one of the songs I've transferred to be my ringtone but the "select" button is grayed-out and it says "Cannot use this file" when I do press select. It is the same with all the songs I've transferred. Only music ringtones I've purchased from the Cingular website can be selected.
