I've heard reports that Bush Sr. is not exactly thrilled with how his son is running the country, and they have had disagreements. Bush Sr. refused to talk about them to the media because his son is the president, and he used to be, but he stated the fact that their was some tension.

I heard a rumor that W got real mad at his father once prior to the war starting in Iraq, although I do not know why or if this is true.

Bush senior was smart enough NOT to continue into Baghdad in the first Gulf War.

But we are in Iraq now because Saddam had a contract on Bush Senior. Otherwise, Saddam was no immediate threat to the US. We could have found Osama and completed the job in Afganistan, but Bush II got us into Iraq.

But now that we are there, I think it's better we attack the enemy on the streets of Mosul than on the streets of Clearwater or San Antonio or Murfreesboro.
