im from guyana. its the only english speaking country in south america (thanks to great britain) and even more thanks to them we have more of a caribbean/ west indian culture more than uniting ourselves with the rest of the south american continent. when i hear of great britain the first thing that comes to my mind is my countrys past. Although many people have suffered in their hands ex. slaves, indentured laborers, if it wasnt for them my country would not have been there today with its unique and diverse culture. I, myself would have probably been born in India and who knows what my life would be like. so although in the past great britain has been really cruel ex. to African slaves i guess we have a bit to thank them for

Arrogance, pomposity, a country built at the expense of half the world, laughable political leaders, fantastic writers, and my favorite bands (King Crimson, Tears for Fears, and the Pet Shop Boys), all at the same time.
I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil, by the way.
Cheers, old love!

USA. the movie lock, stock, and smoking barrel, captain Britain (comic character), spice girls( sorry about that), Vinnie Jones, David beck ham. I would like to visit but it seems to be becoming really intolerant right now. You appear to be having a lot of race problems and I get enough of that right here in America..

Honestly, i think about Sean Connery, The beatles, London Bridge, The Queen , Princess Di , Double layer red bus, James Bond, and great 80's singers like Duran-duran, Spandau Ballet, Tears for Fears , etc... Of course, the distinctive accent.

I think of Tony Blair and how he was one of the first world leaders to stand with us in the US after 9/11.

Funny and annoying accents. Pounds in the shape of a curvy L instead of dollars. Bad teeth. London. Gloomy weather. Punk music.
