I do agree to a certain extent with the tv coverage saying its racisim, its deffinately shool girl bullying, if it was a black, asian or any other ethnic minority calling white people names, there wouldnt be such a fuss, and dont be denying it coz its true, i am proud to be brittish, but over the last 10 year i have seen my country go downhill, with the introduction of foreign worker, illegal immigrants say no more, i do not have a problem if you are born brittish and have family that have lived here for years asian, black ect.All these immigrants and muslims dictating to us how we should act in our own country (when in rome)This causing even the open minded and tollerent of folk like me to start hating these people but some good people are getting tarred with the same brush, our health service alone would not be burdened with free loaders that i have to pay tax to keep in the uk,i think we as Brittish Nationals should rise up and take our country back. the problem is we are too scared!!

The buzzword "racism" is just code for anti-white. The only people who can be guilty of racism are white people. The predisposition to favor those similar to you is universal. It is expected and encouraged for every race to advance itself EXCEPT white people.

White people are not allowed to have pride in their race and are encouraged to be ashamed of it. This trend is the bane of civilization.

The British people are not scared. They are apathetic, and use Political Correctness as a scapegoat for their lethargy (although it is not entirely blameless for some of the UK's downfallings). Perhaps, instead of pointing out the problem, YOU should be helping the solution?

You forget that many British people are 'Black, Asian or any other ethnic minority' as you put it- England particularly is a country of mongrels who long ago lost any shred of national identity and many 'foreigners' are in fact naturalised. Even the inherently 'British' population (for example, the honourable Jade Goody) have ethnically diverse roots and are ill-equipped to debate about the fate of their country; how many of them can list, chronologically, the monarchs of the last two hundred years? Or debate the origins of the Union Jack flag?

There never was an England, and Britain is a slowly sinking ship.

Lastly, improve your grasp of the English language before you think of using it to berate others.

I have never been to Britain but I can assume that white-Brits are extremely proud of their culture. Good for you, "bloke". Raise that Union Jack wherever you go and claim you're proud to be British. I don't see anything wrong with that.
If you live in America, you'll see minorities like I that love America because of many factors: wine, women, song, war....etc. but the concept of nationalism here is what we subscribe to, not race. Maybe Brits have not engaged immigrant groups as another tool in their toolkit but as dead weight and that's why NOW there is a growing "problem". Maybe it's because Americans are more willing to see legal immigration as a necessary thing to keep our country number one and we treat new immigrants the same: First: cultural apprehension, Second: Cultural assimilation of NATIONAL values, Third: Realizing that all Americans are here for money, security, and the pursuit of happiness, so it doesn't matter what skin color you are, just as long as you're American. Brits are holding on to a snooty culture that has lost it's value. Read the cliff notes of America, throw out what doesn't work and incorporate stuff that does. Don't fix what ain't broke but have the due diligence to seek solutions and SHARE your findings.

I do understand how you feel but hate is a very strong word! I think Jade was guilty only of bullying. The racist in the house is Danielle. I also think that the viewer who said that she did not call Jade "Jade fish and chips" was verging on racism.
But is it racism or discrimination? I think the word "racist" is being used in too many ways. I think that this is a country that is doing everything possible not to be British any more. One of the titles of the monarchy is "Defender of the Faith" but this is not happening. I am proud to believe in God and will stand up for my faith but I will not wear a cross just to prove that I am a Christian. I certainly believe that "When in Rome etc" but we (British people) are letting our country go to hell in a hand basket.

I have spent my life tackling racism...including Chinese, Malay, Indian, Bengali, and black as well as white.
At its root it is an inferiority comples coming out.. No-one feels the need to pick on that which is inheritantly inferior. eg no one goes around proclaiming people are better than worms, dogs, slugs or whatever.
Were it not for immigrant doctors and nurses our health service would collapse by the way. (My son and his wife are both nurses and will confirm that)

As far as name calling the rest of the races have a long way to go in catching up with whites( I'm grouping you with American whites also). Most of the racist, derogatory, and hateful names used in common language was created by whites. And boy you sound real tolerant, you sound like you would fit in real well skin heads, Nazis, white supremacist, and Klansman.

There is a case in California where Black children are accused of attacking White girls while hurling racial taunts at them. Racism is rampant among all races!!

Jade Goody is more stupid and ignorant rather than being racist.

If the person had of been a fat ginger person with glasses, and she called them just that, would ANYONE have said a word ?

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

So why all the hue and cry and astonishing scenes from India, sad misguided people.
