It won't matter at this point if you try to dry it or not. It will be the chip not the phone that's ruined. You also can't "fake" or lie your way through to the cell phone company. There is a built-in mechanism on the chip to let them know that it has gotten wet.

My chum dropped his contained in the bathroom and it worked after he dried it out and that i had one which I dropped into an finished cup of pepsi so I dunked it in water really quick and then enable it dry and it worked yet presently my Razor ended up in only a small puddle of water and it not in any respect worked lower back so relying on the type of telephone some can take extra abuse than others. merely enable it dry out thoroughly and substances it a attempt to no no longer some thing risky will happen.

I am notorious for getting them wet...oops! I have removed the battery of course and then just set them on the heater in the house. Maybe a hairdryer may speed up the process BUT that may get too hot so if you do this then make sure its pretty far away. It usually takes a few days or even up to two weeks (my last one did)

Depends on how wet it got--submersed wet, or oops i might have spilled some water but I picked it up in time-wet?
Take the battery out, etc. and let it air dry. See if that works.

You can try and take it apart and let it dry out, but odds are your f'd. Had one go through the washing machine by accident. Never recovered.

Pop the covers off and use a hairdryer on a low setting and use the cool option.
