I've been trying to create a ringtone for my razor v3. But I keep getting a message that the codec is incorrect or missing when I try to save it. Or shows a failure to if I attemp to transfer it to my phone. Any ideas what the problem might be. Photo transfers work fine.

Thanks
Terry

I am going to take a guess that you have verizon or sprint. I am sure there is a way in the programming of the phone to block mp3 transfers

Take a look at this and see if it helps: http://www.hacktherazr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1477

I agree with the other answer you might be with sprint or Verizon they have parts of there phone blocked and code removed from the phones software like the OBEX transfer that will be used to transfer files. There is some ways to bypass this some easy some a bit to dangerous to try .look at the site the other answer tells you and also go do some digging in howardforums.com.
