where u even born when Pele was still playing!? this is the most ridiculous comment i have ever seen in this football forum, u obviously have no idea what ur talking about and u obviously don't follow football that much,football now is better than the days of Pele, football is improving with time, the game now is much better than it used to be, and there are OTHER LEGENDS in the world other than Pele, ur saying this and i dont think u where even born when he was playing, u havnt even seen him play live, all u have seen is a couple of highlights of the goals he has scored.
As for the question:
the Football Worldcup is the best sporting tournament in the world, nothing comes to mind except the world Magical!

Packed stadium with lots and lots of loud, crazy, but loyal, fans from all over the world cheering for their favorite national teams to win the biggest soccer tournament in the world! Craziness, but the best craziness out there :)

The most beautiful amazing socceer tourney Ever. The world cup is the bessssst. I cannnt wait until 2010! the passion and emotion that goes on in that tourney is more than anyhting in any other sport! viva argentina

Very slow and boring to most sports fans in the US, but worthy of a life and death struggle between many people ourside of the US.
Least expensive of the major world sports to learn to play in that only a ball is needed and a large flat area.
Requires tremendous foot sped and skill. Is a healthy pursuit and one that also improves ones abilities in other sports.
To be competetive one needs to start as a small child and spend one's whole life to practicing and competing to get good enough to earn a decent living at it.
