Hard one!
Hmmmm, I would guess either Wu-Tang or Public Enemy. But you can't really forget NWA or my Q-boro favorite: The Lost Boys

I'll list MY five favorites for you:
Public Enemy
Run-DMC
Three 6 Mafia
Lil' Jon & The Eastside Boyz
Bone, Thugs & Harmony
I'm 37 years old and have been listening to Hip-Hop since 1980. I've seen groups come and go. The group doesn't have to last, but the music does.

I believe the Gym Class Heroes are the greatest because all there songs have insanely good lyrics and they actually play music during there songs instead of a simple back beat.

either N.W.A. or Three 6 Mafia or Bone Thugs N Harmony. All of these are amazing in their own ways. I'll go with Bone Thugs, cuz they are from Cleveland like me. (trust me, i have been to Compton and TN, and Cleveland still looks worse)
