I didn't know. I'm irregular in my cycles so I could easily miss a month, even two without worrying of pregnancy. It was from having hypothyroidism (which didn't know until 10 weeks preggo) and so I had so many problems. They said I was 13 weeks at the time from my estimated LMP because I thought I was a 2 month time frame. We had been trying to get pregnant for 6 years and finally I got preg. without even trying. So they would have said my last period was Nov when my last period was Oct 5. I either ovulated more than once or ovulated extremely late. Of course as I said I went two months w/o a period. I am now 12 weeks and one day.....again! When I went to my first doctors visit was Dec 20. They thought I was eight weeks on my first visit. So I was only 5 weeks pregnant and had a positive result at like the end of 3 weeks pregnant. Clear as day 4 days before my period. Talk about alot of hcg. Some people can't even tell until 2 months but I thought I was already eight weeks. Of course they did an ultrasound and it is still possible I am 14 or 15 weeks, but at the ultrasound my baby was the size of a peanut so 10 weeks at the time would be close. But yes, I went two months without a period and was almost a month behind schedule.

Yes. I became pregnant without really trying (after 7 years of very concentrated trying). - I guessed at my last period date but thought I was right on (Im like clockwork). In any case, I'm now 19 weeks, but since I've been about 8 weeks - every syptom that my books tell me I should be having happened 2 weeks earlier - I am convinced that am 21-22 weeks along.

I don't think it matters though - that baby is going to come when he's done "cooking" whether it's at 35 weeks or 43 weeks. As you get ultrasounds done - the doctor can tell the actual age of the baby a lot better. Don't worry - just sit tight.

I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second child now, I had this happen both times. According to my Ultrasounds they say I am a month behind what my last period says. My daughter was born 4 weeks early according to the ultrasounds, but right on time according to my last period! It's really puzzling to me! I almost expect the same thing to happen to us this time!!

I was just a week late and I took a test and to my surprise I was pregnant, and taking birth control, I was already 2 months pregnant, so I had a period while I was pregnant. Now my husband and I are trying to have another baby , I quit my birth control and we have been trying for several months now, weird huh?

The LMP you ought to use may be your final general era and it sounds like your final one wasn't general. the pulse can frequently be heard by using doppler at 10-12 weeks so which you probable are greater alongside. The dr could pass by using the ultrasound no remember if that's greater advantageous than 7 days off your LMP date.

You dont predict the due date according to missed periods. You go from the last period.

heres my story in a nut shell, i was still having a normal period for 3 months into pregnancy, i was 17 yrs old, living on my own and partying alot in dallas, went on a week long party, and then was really sick, tried to nurse myself, but stayed sick all day, the 2nd day, i was still stuck to the toilet, and still couldnt take the hair of the dog, thought to myself, maybe you have alcohol poisoning, the 3rd day, i was still the same, sick sick, my friend took me to the dr, and i was 3 months pregnant, what a surprise to me as i was on birth control. my son is now 26 yrs old, so it can happen.
