We live in this colorless society, yet only whites are spotlighted on fox, cnn, or msnbc when it comes to missing peoples. In this colorless society why does the news media believe that the only way to get the viewer base (whites) interest in missing people stories are to make sure that the ones that make the news channels are white. All of the missing people cases that i can remeber have been involving whites. Why aren't black missing cases told on the major news networks.

Get ready to be bombarded by the racists now.. They will say once in 200?? some black person was reported missing. And then they will call you every name in the book. Just ignore it.
And to the person that said they just reported some on CNN an hour ago. I can give you an EXTENSIVE list of missing persons of other nationalities that have disappeared in some of the same circumstances as Natalie Holloway and Elizabeth Smart. These are American children that have been kidnapped and no one reports them because they are not white. What other reason can they give for not shining a spotlight on it? A missing child is a missing child. period.

This is part of America's shame. That one race or ethnic group's children are not deemed important enough to report missing nationally. Its everyone's problem, your kid could be next.

ColorLESS society?? Oh no, I don't think so. We are all very aware of color. And where are your documented facts concerning these " spotlighted whites"? Come on, pony up. You saw the recent media blitz about the two white boys ... one held for four years. Now, you are an authority about missing white children statistics. Sheesh !!!!

I feel you man when the illegal mexican ran over my son the only thing the paper said was that mean old white boy on the motorcycle was driving to fast even though the police and witnesses said different ( must have been one of those libs with a mexican wife and yard boy reporters. then i guess you haven't been watching the news lately about four (non- white) children missing and there father who shot and killed there aunts boyfriend....maybe you should be paying more attention to you t.v set and the news......seems to me your just missing the right story's .and believe me blacks can also be colorless.every time i turn around you are always blaming the white...for everything that go wrong in there world.......

Interesting question. Since most major media newsrooms are 80% or more Democrat-voting liberals, one might come to the conclusion that it is because of inherent liberal racism.
This is the liberal racism that sees nothing wrong with depicting conservative blacks as "Uncle Toms", "oreos", "mammies" and "house ******".
