I hae blackheads on my nose that i have had for absalutely ages. I am fed up of them and i wondeered of anyone knows any good tips for getting rid of them that actually work?

"acne free" im not going to go into deep detail on this cause I already have for a bunch of others but this actually works. you can get it at walmart and places like that. after 3 days I can already see a difference in my skin. costs about 15.00 its worth a shot to see if it works that great for you.

I agree with the person who posted about changing your sheets and pillow cases regularly, this is very important.
Use a daily fash wash that is MEANT to be used daily. I use the tub of Neutragena (sp) every day, and a facial scrub (exfoliant) once or twice a week. You shouldn't use a scrub every day because this can further irritate your skin. I use the apricot scrubs.
And then there's the general advice of not picking at your skin or touching your face too much (like leaning on your palm) as this deposits more oils on your face. And drink plenty of water.

A tip for preventing them that many people don't know about is to be sure to wash your bed sheets and especially your pillow cases once a week. More often if you have oily skin.
The oils and dirt and stuff from your skin build up on the pillow case over time and mashing that stuff against your face night after night can lead to all kinds of skin problems. Washing your face right before you go to sleep helps, but it's not enough. If you can sleep comfortably on your back, do that too!

You need a scrub dear... Blackheads are stubborn.. I recently bought a microdermabrasion cream from Joey and its awesome.. It really worked not only on blackheads but it made my skin smoother..
Also try to see if you can purchase a product called "PERNOX" Its found in wal-greens and its cost about 16.00 but a great blackhead /general acne product ...
The derma cream from "JOEY" is 42.00 lots more exspensive..

I like those Bore' strips. I noticed that depending on the amount of water you use it sometimes takes a while for them to dry. Once I left it on too long and had to rewet it for it to come off, but it worked.

Try using a facial scrub on your face a few times a week.... it should do the trick for you.

Treat yourself to a facial!
