no, but it could be argued in court otherwise. My suggestion is to find WiFi that doesn't have encryption

It Is Technically Stealing, but, Why not just go to your local mall, Library, or Coffee shop.. Most of these places have free wifi now..

According to the law, yes.

Also, if you're not paying for their service, why should you get it for free? It just makes sense. What you're stealing is their bandwidth. Let's say they've got a service where they can only download so much info per day/week/month etc.; you're using up their bandwidth, and probably slowing down their connections also.

yes you are! Let's turn it around..you have a wifi setup and I hack into it and send porn over it to all my buddies, am I stealing your setup? OF COURSE I AM!!! Why would it be different if you did the stealing instead?
