I climbed the local Ben today, but due to the level of crispy powdery snow at the top I sunk up to my waist in snow and got my left leg soaking wet from a stream running underneath.
I had to turn back at that point and put my skis on. I didn't get all the way with that Ben, but there are other days and now I know a good ski route down which can be modified to go a little faster next time.
It is not too cold at the moment due to the sunshine (my face is burning even though I put plenty of cream on it!).
The forecast for Scotland is to remain freezing for at least a week. There is some more snow due as well!

I'm in Scotland and wish the freeze would move, fed up sliding about everywhere when walking outside ;o)

nope in norfolk, my men are gritting the roads at the moment ready for it and are back on the road at 3am when we expect to get the odd shower cold but no great big flakes of white stuff expected here just little fluffy ones

yes many places here in Spain , there is some about 100 kilometres from me, If it dose´t reach us I´ll go over there. I love Snow
