One is an admitted narcotics user the other is the highest serving Black woman in U.S. History. Both are well spoken and intelligent. One has a proven travk record the other is a relative new comer.

Condi certainly has way more foreign policy experience, and we already know she holds up well under stress.

I would love to see Condi run. Too bad she isn't interested. I understand why she isn't, but it's still unfortunate.

The whole admitted narcotics user thing is such a red herring. So what? Clinton inhaled, no doubt. Bush has a drunk driving record and used to do cocaine - though he has never been so forthcoming about it as Obama - records and his own wife's admission left no doubt. At least Obama addressed it up front, admitted it, explained it, and spoke about what a mistake it was. He also said he hoped by his own admission that it would give others hope that they could also change their lives. Wow, that's some horrible person there isn't it? Have you ever made a mistake and risen above it? I'd rather have a man who can learn from his mistakes and admit them than a man who hides his mistakes and tries to cover them up (Bush).

Condi will not run, she has already said she has no interest in the job. It's a good thing too, I doubt that she has the steel to survive the campaign, much less take the helm of the Presidency.

If those are my two choices I might move to another country. But, If Condi is the republican choice, I am voting for whoever runs against her. She is such a yes person to the Bush administration. Do we really need another four years of stay the course? UGH! As for Barack, I don't think he's been around long enough to run the country. God Help us if those are our only two choices. And as for the potential for our next president to be black, hispanic, a women or anyone who is not a white male, I really don't care, so long as that person is competent, gets us out of this mess that is Iraq without making an even bigger international catastrophe and comes up with a good energy policy so that we can be energy independent from the middle east, then I am all for that person, whomever it may be.

Condi has proven that she is evil.

Barack Obama is clean; more of a family man...he is our own reflection... he is who we wanted to be or would like to be ...

So, on this hypothetical question, Obama gets my vote. On a realistic level Condi can announce her candidacy but no republicans will vote for her ...yeah, the old suppressed negative feeling will overpower them.

I have always thought Condi would make an outstanding president due to many reasons none being her sex :
With her educational background she isn't a mindless drone
-University of Denver at the age of 15, graduating at 19 with a bachelor's degree in political science (*** laude). She earned a master's degree at the University of Notre Dame and a doctorate degree from the University of Denver's Graduate School of International Studies.

On top of English ,she speaks fluent Russian, and, with varying degrees of fluency, German, French, and Spanish.

And like me she switched political parties.......
She was a Democrat until 1982 when she changed her political affiliation to Republican after growing averse to former President Carter's foreign policy. She also cited influence from her father, John Wesley, in this decision, who himself switched from Democrat to Republican after being denied voting registration by the Democratic Party of Alabama.

I never see her as President. The democrats I have spoken to call her stupid, a fake black and a turncoat for changing party affiliation. At times I get tired of the narrow minded but its just a fact in today's societ - A woman president maybe A black woman -not in my life time.....

You may as well just re-word this question to what it REALLY is: would you rather vote for a Democrat or Republican? It is obvious that this question is just a thinly disguised pro-Republican statement. Not that there is anything wrong with being pro-Republican, mind you! But someone who is a Democrat would easily see through this and argue that you are right: but the one with the "proven track record" also has a proven track record of being a liar, manipulator of facts, and leading member of the administration that has cost us billions of dollars in deficit spending and the lives of thousands for an unjustified war. There is much, much more to the story of these two individuals than what you are presenting here. In the end, however, it is irrelevant. Neither of them is going to win their party's nomination anyway, so it does not really matter.

I would vote for anyone that is running against Hillary.
Obama would probably be a good canadate for president but I would prefer Condi but neither one stands a chance against the Clinton political machine.
Clinton's don't lose elections.

Condi has joined the kind of people that enslaved her ansestors.
Very sad. So sad to see the grand and great grandchildrean of victims join the groups of people that represent those that committed those crimes.
Another example is Scalia. In the 1930, italians were widely abused in the US by the republicans and their friends, and here he is, a republican in thought and deeds.
