The New Orleans Saints have rarely had a winning season, When they did, it was always in connection with supernatural help, and it was for that season only. One year they had a winning season after the Pope visited New Orleans and blessed them. Another year they had a winning season after the local voodoo practitioners did a ritual for them. etc. This is the first year they've even made it into the playoffs. I believe this is because of the near destruction of the Dome in Katrina and the heavy cleaning done afterward, or it may have just been dumb luck. Still, they blew it in the game with the Bears. Many say the team is cursed, and give various reasons -- an inauspicious name or time of incorporation, a desecrated graveyard under the Dome, etc. What can be done to break the curse on the team, not just for that season, but once and for all? Who Dat can tell me something that will work, that I haven't heard yet?

that'd easy. When a new stadium is built; the curse will be ended.

There are two problems withthe Saints.

1. the super dome is built over an indian burial site.

2. one of the land owners cursed the team when the city forced him to sell.

Other than moving the stadium; the owners could get a shaman or kahuna to come in and make peace with the spirits and the former owner of the land.

But even that would not be completely successful unless the current land owners followed through on their part of the deal to appease the spirits. This is why some remedies have worked temporarily in the past.

I believed in the curse too. I think it even followed archie manningand he passed it to his sons and tats why peyton could never win a playoff game. But then all of a sudden this year the Saints and Peyton go to championship games?? I think the curse is gone, and they simply lost tothe Bears because the Bears played a better game. I dont know what the cause of the curse is, i dont know what broke it, but i think its gone!

Its working now.
Benson, Payton have put together a great group of athletes that will be around for the next 3-4 years, so get used to the Saints being in the hunt for the next few years.

I do not think it is a curse, everyone on the team would have been hurt. I do not think it was magic, cause they would have won every game.
I think it boils down to self confedence, and the team is heading in the right derection. the best season for a decade, I think they have alot to be proud of.
