Good on ya mate. You've gotta be looking at a full strip down of the whole bike. Salt water is an absolute curse in engines, bearings etc. Strip it down to components and flush everything thoroughly with diesel or kerosene or suchlike.

probably safest to disassemble and rebuild the gear box.

The gas tank you could remove from the bike and let it air dry for several days. Perhaps you could suspend a dessicant in the tank through the gas cap to help. Then when you think it's dry, rinse it with petrol real good, drain it and reinstall it.

Well done!!! My daughter had a Laguna car which got a wave inside because she couldn't shut the door quick enough. Insurance scrapped it, so I suggest you start taking it apart nut by nut, till it drives you nuts!!!!
