I am trying to remember the names of two books I read when I was younger. Do these two plot lines sound familiar to anyone?

1) A reclusive boy decides to live in the subway. He makes money by selling discarded newspapers

2) Two children decide to live in a museum for certain period of time.

The first one is possibly "Slake's Limbo" by Felice Holman: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0689710666/24680e-20

I agree that the second one is "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" by E. L. Konigsburg, a Newbery Award winner: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0689711816/24680e-20

Both are still highly regarded books!

From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. Author is Konisburg and the book was a Newberry award winner.

Not sure about the first one. Sorry. Hope this helps.

I don't think I've ever heard of the first book, but I have read a book with the second plot line, it's called, "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler." Hope that helps with the second one anyway.
