There have be 2 Super Bowls of opponents that are just slightly closer to each other than the Colts and Bears.
Super Bowl III- Colts vs. Jets 171 miles
Super Bowl XXXV- Ravens vs. Giants 171 miles

I'm going to have to say yes. Looking at the previous matchups the only one that may have been closer was the Giants and the Bills, but I'm guessing that's still further. I'm actually a Bears fan living in Indianapolis so the next few weeks are going to be interesting. Needless to say I'm not going to be invited to many Super Bowl parties.

The NY Jets-Baltimore Colts and NY Giants-Baltimore Ravens were previously the closest matchup at about 200 miles apart.

If you do it stadium to stadium...the Colts vs Jets at Super Bowl III was 205.00 Miles apart..thats 12301 Roosevelt, Flushing, NY to 1101 Russell St, Balitmore, MD...
and The Ravens (same address as Colts above) and the Giants, East Rutherford, NJ..was 193.24.
The Bears vs Colt..going by Staduims is 182.10
I was surprised at how far San Fran & San Diego were apart. So it does look like this is the closet one.
I wonder which other combo's could break this record? I mean I know Giants vs Jets, and San Fran vs Oak is like 11.78 miles
