I need a shooting guard for fantasy basketball and almost all of them are not available. Is Josh Childress a good pick? I know Raja Bell is not available.

I think with Claxton and Lue out, Childress would be a good pick.

You can also try Brandon Roy out, he's with the blazers and putting up good numbers. Plus, he's a rookie, so he might just be available.

You can also try with Jason Williams from the Heat... Getting more minutes

Josh Childress is a great unknown player. He produces all over the stat sheet, and would be a good candidate for 6th man of the year if it weren't for the Hawks being so awful. I make sure I have childress on all of my fantasy teams because not many people know of him yet he produces good numbers pretty consistently

I would definately drop Brent Barry for Childress. Being a younger player, you dont know when he can produce but he has been doing well. Brent Bary is old and you know exactly what your gonna get from him. Some points, some 3's, some assists, sometimes...

(check if delonte west of Boston is available, he's a guard and with thier injuries will see increase pt)

Roy on the trailblazers has been lighting it up lately and does a lot of things well for a guard (boards and dimes). He is a rook and might be availiable.
