Any ideas on how to get ready faster in the morning?
I would like a complete schedule, down to the minute on getting ready in the morning. I will need two, one starting at 6 and ending at 6:40, and one starting at 6:30, and ending at 7:10. I would like things included such as breakfast, makeup, dressing. I also would like tips on how to prepare the night before too.

Take your bath or shower right before bed the night before. When you get up in the morning, you just have to wash your face, brush your teeth and put on make-up. This shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. Then fix your hair. Get a good cut so you don't have to do much to it, a few swipes with the curling iron, nothing more. Then get dressed, lay out your clothes the night before, have them ironed and ready. The hair and the clothes shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. Make your bed, if that's important to you. This shouldn't take more than 2 minutes. Then eat a bowl of cereal, a bagel, a cup of yogurt, or something like that, something simple. You can even eat in the car on the way to work if you have to. We're only up to about 15-20 minutes now, what do you need 40 for? If it takes you longer than that, you need to put less make-up on or get a different hairstyle.

Night before:
- Pick out your clothes & Iron them (if needed)
- Get all your stuff that you need for work or school by the door or in the car.
- If you take your lunch get that ready.
- Take a shower or bath.
- Get a good nights sleep!

In the morning:
- Wake up & eat breakfast unless you arent hungry yet & then save that for last. 10 min
- Brush your teeth & wash your face. 5 min
- Fix your hair 10+ min
- Do your make-up 10+ min
- Get dressed 5 min
- Eat if you havent already 10 min
- Grab your keys & go!

This routine is about 45 min give or take a little. You can make it shorter or longer. It just depends on what exactly you do to get ready.

This is what I do every morning & it always seems to work! I was running late every morning to work until I got a schedule down & now Im doing alot better! I hope that this helps...Good Luck!

40 minutes doesn't give enough flexibility for scheduling.

IMO, only you can determine a schedule, as you're the only one who knows how long these things take for you as an individual.

wake up, pee... eat breakfast, shower quicker or the night before and then get dressed, with the clothes you picked out the night before, and put on shoes and get out the door...

I think you are making it too hard for everyone...I feel anxious just thinking about it!
