We now have the largest gap between the rich and poor that the U.S has seen since before the depression. And, a declining middle class
Overall higher taxes for the middle class than for the wealthy.
The wealthiest 3% of the country doesn't have to sacrifice a thing during this war, but those who send their kids to the front, have basically sacrificed everything.
More tax benefits for the already soaring profits for the oil industry.
A war that has no end in sight unless congress grows a pair and cuts funding to bring the troops home.
A war with no real reason.
Rising terrorism around the world.
A destablized middle east.
Neglect of our own country's needs of better schools, better roads, better infrastructure.
Neglect of our own country's needs of sending fixing New Orleans after Katrina.
Rising deficits, including budget, trade and personal debt in the country to the point where Bernake said that if we don't fix the problem the country will face alot more problems very soon.
Soaring gas prices, with a temporary drop that we have seen recently. But trust me they will go up again.
CAFTA, which means we are going to see even more illegals coming over our boarders and more outsourcing of our good paying jobs for the middle class.
Cuts in veterans benefits and medical care just when we have over 22,000 injured and disabled veterans coming home from Iraq.
Yes, these years are called the "Bush Malaise", and trust me we will see the full brunt of the consequences of Bush's policies once the troops finally do come home or when Bush decides to invade Iran, whichever comes first.

Saving our economy, well he was the one that messed up the economy so I would hope he would do something about that. Jobs were great under clinton and i even hated that man.
Job growth - well that is debatable because you are only considred unemployed while you are on unemployment. Once the check stops (after a year) if you still dont have a job you are no longer counted (my aunt works at the unemployemt office in ohio). So yes, the stats may look good but ohio is still down on jobs regained, the worse in the nation if you read about and the worse thing is the jobs that are being replaced pay about half as much as the jobs that were loss. HOORAY FOR BUSH - GOOD JOB!
Saving us from terrorists - what about the terrorists living here int he US? You remember, the KKK the black panthers you know, all those hate groups that cause problems daily. Hell, the KKK just marched through toledo not too long ago here in ohio. You will never end terrorism, thats just like saying you can stop gays from being gay or that you could stop republicans from being republicans or democrats from democrats. Terrorism is a way of thinking and you will never be able to stop that and from my counts we have not stopped that, yes we have been fortunate not to have another attack on the US but they are still attacking other countries across the globe as the war goes on so have we really stopped anything???
Lets not forget the trillion dollar bill Bush just gave to our children and grandchildren, that really helped us out a ton!
And the list goes on of great things he has done for our country, the worse being this war that will never end but maybe thats what they wanted so they can keep their eye on the black gold! Thats the only thing I can figure since there are many other countries out there that were much worse than Iraq, hell you can have sex with litle girls/boys in some countries for a fee but there is no oil there (near bangcock, dateline NBC) so we go for the middle east. What about the threat of Iran, that has been there since before we started the WAR ON IRAQ and it is still there, the threat of China which again was there before we started the WAR ON IRAQ and is still there. The list goes on.
Case in point, bush has done nothing but given me one $500 tax break his first term in office and huge tax breaks to the richest 1% of America and started a WAR ON IRAQ that will never end and will most likely end up having a ruler that was much worse than Saddam. He did start the No Child Left Behind Act but then under funded the program and lets not forget how he took FEMA and Homeland Security and combined those into one office instead of leaving them seperate powers as they had been for some many years thus having a huge fall out after Katrina hit and speaking of Katrina, that was one botched job there! Wow, and you can say all you want that those people didnt deserve help and should not have cried at Bush so hard but damn, that was one of the worst disasters I ever remember in the US (Along with 9/11) and we really dropped the ball, I feel so bad for all those misplaced families.
Keep it up Bush, your ratings are at a soaring 32% approval, lets see how low can you go!
OMG - I cant believe that someone is ignorant enough to say that bush has stopped the gays from taking over this country. The gays have been around since the start of time. It has also been proven that there is a gene that causes this and its not a choice that has been made. You speak of god in your rant and yet I thought the saying went "Thou shall not Judge" becasue with what you just said you passed a huge judgement. Let them go, let them do there thing. It doesnt hurt you does it? Let me ask you a question, if gays choose to be gay then when did you choose to be straight? Just curious is all.

Increased the school of international policing of which with the high level of civilization could be avoided.

He did respond with appropriate force after 9/11. His proposed tax cuts (which Congress passed) have managed to stimulate the economy to an extent. The market is at an all time high. And unemployment and interest rates are still quite low but I'm not sure just how much of that is really a result of what Bush has done.
The last time I looked (according to the Constitution) it was NOT the responsibility of the President to raise or lower taxes (Congress does that), handle the budget (congress does that too), control oil prices(the market does that), or create jobs(business does that).
So what would you have had him do? Bear in mind you have to stay within the framework of the Constitution.

1) It has hyped terrorism when really the US had foreknowledge of 9/11 attacks. Hard and circumstantial evidence shows that the US was involved with those "terrorist" attacks and has covered it up.
2) It has caused the US to be a hated nation globally.
3) It has deeply separated us on political views and changed our sense of patriotism to where supporting Bush means that you love the country. Dissent of the Bush Administration means you hate the country. (when in fact dissent is the sign of true patriotism).
4) It has caused Americans to lose a sense on the value of life. Thousands and thousands of dead people of another race overseas doesn't suprise us anymore and doesn't force us to change our views.
5) It has scarred the symbol of freedom.
6) In its hype of terrorism, it has convinced Americans that an intrusive government is the way to go for protection.
7) It has damaged government in the sense of checks and balances.
8) The executive branch has expanded its power where congress has no control of.

1) Ruined the economy
2) Run up record deficits (with the help of the republican congress)
3) Decimated our military to the point where we can neither defend ourselves or respond to domestic crisis.
4) Record profits and tax breaks for big oil.
5) Isolated the USA internationally to the point that even our allies are seeing us as being less and less useful and more and more of an international burden.
6) Pushed the world to the brink of nuclear war by threatening to use nukes and reversing nuclear reduction policies.
7) Divided the country to the point that if the American people actually gave a sh** we would be in a civil war.
The list goes on and on and on....but you already knew that.

Made a few oil companies richer, and the rest of the economy that's now riding on a huge deficit weaker. He is bad for the republicans this time around, but after when the democratic party is forced to raise taxes, the coin may turn. I'm just up-set that the punk made my student rates go up.

What was that slogan Bill Clinton used in '92? Oh yeah, "it's the economy, stupid!"
Lower federal tax rates - and federal tax REVENUES have gone UP and have gone up faster than was projected without the tax cuts.
Strong economic growth which has slowed some but that is expected after the longest rate hike cycle in Fed history - a direct result of the tax cuts.
Continuing strong economic mobility. There is a widening gap between high income and low income but this is primarily a gap between you at 22 working at a store for spending money while you finish shool and you at 52 at the height of your career, not between you and someone else. The middle class is smaller but unless the Census Bureau is part of the vast right wing conspiracy this is only because people in the middle class are moving UP. There are more poor people in America than there were in 2000 but not more poor Americans - just more poor Mexicans coming here. Whatever you think of their being here, they're not Americans and they were poor when they got here. There are 2.5 million more poor people and 8.5 million more illegal immigrants - do the math. Let them stay, kick them out, whatever, just stop calling them Americans who used to be middle class.
Low inflation. This is because the Fed has tightened, but it was able to tighten without killing off growth because of the tax cuts.
Low unemployment. Very low.
On most of these fronts, the economy is actually better than in the 1990s - people remember the late 1990s boom but it was Fed-induced and you really can't consider it and the post-NASDAQ-bubble economy separately.
On all of these fronts the economy is better than it was in the 1970s and has gotten better steadily as we've implemented and maintained more free-market policies. Inflation is 1/4 what it was under Carter, and unemployment is less than half what it was. There's a reason for that.
As for the never ending war with a religion, please - read the Koran and the Hadiths. Islam has been at war with everyone and everything else since it was founded. Just read the Koran. Not asking you to take my word for it. Google "Sura 8.12" for yourself - see what you get. Not pretty.
And where do these Libs who claim the economy is weaker get their info?
