how do i get plastic off of new bathtub?

I bought a new bathtub and it still had the plastic film over it that is suppost to peal right off, well this one won't I have gotten about 0 % of it off and the rest is stuck. It can be picked off in little bitty peices but doing it this way would take a year, any one have any ideas?

I wonder if the heat from a blow dryer might loosen the plastic film?

try oil canola or the like. then just wash the oil off with kitchen dish soap.
