Who's truth? Look I do not say that liberals lie, even if I believed it was true, which I don't, it wouldn't serve any good purpose. The simple fact is there is your side, there is my side and somewhere in the middle is the truth. People report things based on their interpretation and opinion. From their position whatever they believe is the truth and they will present it this way. Both sides do a fair job of ignoring facts which do not fit their worldview. The liberals do not report the correct truth concerning Mr. Bush or Iraq, but then neither do the conservatives. Trying to hold one side of a political debate above the other as a paragon of virtue is useless. If liberals were truly honest about Iraq they would acknowledge what occurred and what was said before Mr. Bush was president. They would acknowledge that WMDs were found even though they did not constitute the massive stockpiles that we expected to find. They would admit that our casaulty rate is very minor compared to other wars of similar duration. They would admit that there are terrorists in Iraq and fighting them there is preferable to fighting them here. I could go on and on, but there just wouldn't be any point to it. Here is the simple fact. Liberals are going attack anything Conservative or Republican in nature as vociferously as possible with little regard for what you call truth because truth is merely a matter of perception and the victors write the histories. Conservatives will do the same in reverse. This is just the nature of politics.

They not only tell the truth, but they extend beyond the truth because Bush is a Republican. This is the only reason. It wouldn't matter if there was a different president in power, if he's Republican, they aren't gonna like him. Nothing you can do, this is just the way it is. You never heard a lot of criticism from Liberals when Clinton was president. That's because he is a Democrat. The whole thing is about political reasons and sticking by your party. It has nothing to do with the good of the country. I'm a Conservative and lean more on the Republican side, but I don't always vote for Republicans. ivoted for Clinton, but I also voted for Bush. I think they have both done an exceptional job as president considering the circumstances they have been given. But I will get thumbs down for this, not because what I say doesn't make sense, it's because I'm a Conservative that leans more on the Republican side.

you like some greater powerful aspects WMD have been present day in Iraq, over 500 Sarin and Mustard gasoline canisters. Unemployment is extremely low(below 5%, study that too countires like france that are around 12%), the customary earnings is UP no longer down. If this u . s . a . is in such dire straights why are each and all of the illegals nonetheless so wanting to get right here? and the place s the mass exodus of human beings fleeing the country? Russia France China, Canada and various of different different international locations have all antagonistic US rules and none of them have "ended up like Iraq and Lebanon" And yeah it extremely is going to suck for all those Iraqis who're now no longer ruled by skill of a mass murdering dictator, truly get to vote, the two adult males and girls are being knowledgeable, government rape rooms and torture chambers have closed..... could desire to suck to be them!

How do you know who is telling the truth and who is lieing? What is your proof. Did you watch something on TV and automatically believe whatever was said? I think that a lot of times, people already decide on what is going on and find ways of proving what they believe rather then looking at the facts first and making a decision from there. There is more going on then you are obviously willing to look at. I don't think that all liberals are necessarily liars, but I find them lacking in judgment and accountability.

CNN
Transcript: President Clinton explains Iraq strike
CLINTON: Good evening.
Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors.
Their purpose is to protect the national interest of the United States, and indeed the interests of people throughout the Middle East and around the world.
Saddam Hussein must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons.
I want to explain why I have decided, with the unanimous recommendation of my national security team, to use force in Iraq; why we have acted now; and what we aim to accomplish.
Six weeks ago, Saddam Hussein announced that he would no longer cooperate with the United Nations weapons inspectors called UNSCOM. They are highly professional experts from dozens of countries. Their job is to oversee the elimination of Iraq's capability to retain, create and use weapons of mass destruction, and to verify that Iraq does not attempt to rebuild that capability.
{snip}
here is the important part:
The international community had little doubt then, and I have no doubt today, that left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will use these terrible weapons again
The hard fact is that so long as Saddam remains in power, he threatens the well-being of his people, the peace of his region, the security of the world.
