Depends on how much time lapsed before you went back and looked at it, it could be an evap line so before you get all excited go and get another test and take it the same way you took it before try getting one of those ones that are digital that tell you pregnant or not pregnant so that you don't have to worry about evap lines and what not. Keeping my fingers crossed for you, I hope all works out the way that you want.

There is some truth to "evaporation lines" so I wouldn't count on the test result as a positive until you repeat it. With an early pregnancy it will take the FULL 3 minutes for a line to appear....and often times it's so faint at 10-11 dpo! I am preggo now and tested at 10 days onward and I didn't get my + until 11 dpo and it was extreeeeemely faint. I say get a new test and take it first thing in the a.m...don't leave the room! Good luck!

Of course they say " Don't read the test after the time limit "
BUT if the line was a dark positive, and you didn't wait for the test to develop before throwing it away, there is a good chance it's real! The only way to know is to test again, and stay with the test while it develops, and read the result within the time limit!
Good luck and I hope you get a positive!

Sometimes if does take a while for the test to confirm that you are pregnant, but it takes about 3 minutes for the line to show depending on your hcg levels, but it could also be an evaporation line that appears after awhile, so thats good that you're going to try and test again just to be sure, I know that happend to me but its cause I made the mistake of rechecking it and looking at it through so many different lights lol, Congratulations if you are I wish the best for you =)

Follow the package directions. It usually says to disregard any indications after a certain length of time, but at the same time, you didn't wait long enough to see the results. I would completley disregard that test and see what is shows tomorrow, using the package directions exactly as stated. Blessings...
I'm surprised you basically just glanced at it if you're truly trying to get pregnant. I remember staring at tests for twice the recommended time just to be SURE I was or wasn't. Good Luck...

The test won't turn positive unless you are pregnant...sometimes it takes awhile, but I would say there is a good chance you are if it was positive when you went back and looked. You should try to make an appointment with your doctor to confirm.

GOod chance but if you read the box it states that after you've used the test more than 10 minutes later the test is no good and to not pay attention to the results.

it usually takes a couple minutes for the line to show up negative or positive. So i would say that you are pregnant. It sounds like you did all the right things, by using the first mornings urine. So congratulations but i would go ahead and have my doctor confirm it.
