Thinking of doing a MSc at Brighton uni - has anyone studied at the uni ??? what do you have to say about it

Pros - it's a lively place to be and near some beautiful countryside - the South Downs as well as the sea.

Cons - after your first year you are expected to move out of halls and find your own place (but I guess that is the same for most Unis these days.

If I were you I'd choose Edinburgh as it's free. At Brighton you're gonna come out with £27,000 debt plus living costs. Not the best way to start your career. And actually for English degree, Edinburgh Napier scores 6 places higher than Brighton, according to the good university guide 2012.

if you live in Brighton it's not to far to travel home on the other hand you have a thumb and 4 fingers

Con's - Brightons a town full of old people
