when i do get my period i'm on it for about 10 days but i don't know when i ovulate i'm also on metformin. 50 mg.

I think you should monitor your cycles by charting your temp. Since your periods are longer then average you can tell when u personally ovulate.

Since you take Metformin, i assume u have PCOS, i would chart to make sure you are ovualating!

First thing that you may want to consider doing would be to do fertility charting. You need to learn to monitor the symptoms that your body is giving you. You will learn to monitor your morning temperature (BBT), cervical mucus and cervical position. Once you determine how your cycle works, you will find that you never count from the front , but from the end of your cycle. Ovulation tends to occur on a day in the last 10 to 17 days. first of alot of pills like that will mess up a cycle the easyest way to know is the first day 14 days afer your last cycle is when u should ovulate good luck dr.gary esper
