why is it so difficult to lose a friend?Imagine you split up with your first love, but decided to become best friends with them instead. You rely on your best friend for everything.Even when things were really bad,he could just tell me everything was going to be ok and i would instantly believe him.He would always make me feel better no matter what. But now i've done something and i've lost him, because he's so stubborn and wont forigive me,even though he once promised to be there for me no matter what.Question is...why is it so hard losing him?Andd my last Q is how do you know if a friendship is really over or if it will one day be rekindiled if you like?

It's hard because you've become co-dependent on him. And unless you did something really horrible, he will probably come around eventually, just give him some cooling off space. In the meantime, try to rely on yourself more.

Friendship is something that you probably have before your love life and it is so hard because you have known the person for so long.
