It's about quarter size but not round. Should I pop it or let the white blood cells do their thing? It on the back of my dominant hand and I've been careful not to hurt it, but it hurts from time to time when doing normal stuff. I can stand the pain but I'd rather pop it than have it burst.

blisters are a protective mechanism of the body, DO NOT pop it. You can use ice to numb it and decrease discomfort, but keep it covered and protected and let it heal normally. When the tissue under the blister has healed, it will dry up and come off by itself.

Leave it alone. Popping it can open it up to infection. The blister keeps out infection.
