We have been together for two years. Doesn't she trust me when she isn't home??

she is just being a mom... cut her some slack. expeciallyif this is the first time she has seen you in contact with your girlfriend like that. go talk to her about it! ask her what she is worried about, and do your best to be honest with each other. if she knows what is going on, she won't have to use her imagination (which can be scary for a mom!!).

Now if your Mom caught you watching TV with your hand on your GF's boob, that would be a different situation, lol. While I think that getting mad is over reacting, talk to your Mom about the rules about proper affection in the house with your GF. It's still her house (trust me, you'll understand when you get your own house and kid), and it's her way or the highway until you get to an age to move out and support yourself. Also talk to her about your feelings on the subject, a relationship with a parent should be open and not as much a dictatorship as one would like to think.

As the mother of three daughters, ages 21,16,and 12, I can definitely relate. I see having your hand on your g/f's stomach as harmless. Try to keep an honest and open relationship with your mom so you can respect and trust eachother. She knows you well enough to know what kind of guy you are, right? So maybe she over-reacted. Give her some time to process her feelings and then talk about what happened. Good luck.

Didn't help that you were lying in bed, your mom is probably just concerned that the stomach on hand will move to something more and she doesn't want to have to worry about that. I think she has a right to be upset, but not yelling at you upset, don't be surprised if she wants to have a "discussion" with you. Good luck and God bless.

Depends on how she handled it ("getting mad" isn't very specific). I think that if your mom wishes to be justfied in getting upset, though, she should make it clear to you what she expects of you when you're around her with girls. She should specify the dos and don'ts. If she has not done that, then she really shouldn't be surprised when you do something she deems inappropriate.

Once she makes things clear to you, though, I think it's only fair that you respect her wishes, at least when you are in her house.

No, she's not over reacting. I wouldn't be happy either. Stomach is close to pants, pants is close to, yeah, you know. So hold hands and keep your hands off of her body! Then everyone will be happy! Good Luck!

No way! A hand? But if my mom saw she'd be mad. I think that it's fine.

Yes, but with the way kids act now a days, she is probably just concerned that you will do something she doesn't approve of.
