If so, did you know that means that if you have a Democrat and Republican of similar IQ and opposite beliefs, that the Democrat has more of their brain functioning

science daily is a reputable source.. the article you refered to was based on a poll.. making it much less reliable and it was from a media source.. again taxing it's credibility.. if you don't accept the premise that democrats are more altruistic that is your choice but the science behind it is very valid.

I might add that if you actually click on the link.. this information is from Duke University medical center.. pretty credible :)

I would have to agree with this but I dont think you need to draw a political line for it because we have had many republicans who have done the same. We have all been tricked by the Bush Administration and how they led the fight up to the war, with them I would say this is 100% true because they are just looking out for themselves and not the best of the nation.

Look at who adopted the Welfare system in the US, republicans dog on this hard core and yes some people do scam the system but the beliefs behind the system I think are great because it is supposed to help level out the playing field and help our fellow Americans who need it!

Same goes for the cut in College loans, the DEMOCRATS just passed that and it will drop the loan % from 7% to 3.5% in the next 4 years, that will benefit everyone and not just out political leaders.

The same goes for the drilling of offshore oil. When this was setup under the clinton administration a loop hole was missed and allowed royalty free drilling, this was billions of dollars we were missing from those fees. The DEMOCRATS put that back on the table and fixed the loop hole that was missed and is now taking that extra money and putting it toward research for alternative fuel sources which would help everyone!

Again this is not saying that Republicans never do anything to help but I think you are right, they look more toward the tax cuts for the richest 1% population of the Country instead of helping out those who need it like our poor. You can say that its their fault and the poor dont need the money but then what you would have ladies and gentlemen is a 3rd world country instead of the United States that we all love!

Dont ever forget, we are the Melting pot and the statue of liberty even stands for those who have come from other countries to have a better life, a life where there is a level playing ground instead of mass people living w/o food, water, heat, ect...

First of all, that is biased and of questionable scientific validity.

Second, did you read the study that came out a month ago that said conservatives and Republicans are more philanthropic, donating more of their time and money to charity?

That is in direct contradiction to your quoted article. Which is right? Probably neither.

Did you know that conservatives tend to be the hard scientists and mathematicians while libbies tend to be writers and artists, and sometimes psychologists?
