Do what is right for YOU. If they wanted you to be strictly with Irish girls, they should live in Ireland. A person's ethnicity doesn't make them any more or any less of a good person.

Do as you will. My father always talks about how we're Irish and how he hates Catholics. Why? Because his mother did! What a tool!

I would go against your parents and make a move on the polish girl. You will always wonder about her if you don't. Segregation is dead, your parents are old fashioned.
