In california, do you get any compensation from injured at work (never out of work) and being discharged without permanent disability. Does the company give you money? I went to the wc doctor's for about 3 months for my injury - I was able to go to work everyday. I am just wondering if I get any compensation for my time and on the job injury - even though it did not cause permanent disability. thanks

You do not get a settlement of any kind or pay for the time you took off to go to the doctor. They paid your medical bills for the injury. I can't see how they owe you for anything else. It isn't like "hurt yourself, get a prize".

They can't, however, fire you for the injury. Of course, I'd imagine if they tried that, they would claim they were firing for another reason.

If your employer paid your medical bills and for the time you were in treatment, then no. Everything has been paid, and you are no longer injured. Why do you want something else?
