We are all Americans and we can do without Hyphenation!
The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English- Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian- Americans, or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality," Teddy Roosevelt

tolerant liberal is a misnormer.

They preach tolerantence but they don't want to hear conversatives.
They don't want any news organization to say anything they disagree with case in point look how they attack Fox News.
They are great talking about tolerance for religion but dare a politician speak in a conservative church the shrill voice makes my dog cry for weeks.
Yet a liberal can preach in a black church.

If you attack a black liberal you are racist but if they attack a black conservative that is open debate.

I like to meet a tolerant liberal some day.

We once referred to our country as a melting pot where there was no more this or that Americans only Americans. It is sad that we have allowed the Liberals to establish the Hyphenation and separation of the country.

If your asking why do they preach tolerance and acceptance of all ideas and positions and then bash anyone with a position outside of theirs than I would agree. The liberal is very intolerant. This is often the case, most will say one thing and mean something totally different.

Yes they are!
Considering their entire philosophy is rooted in failed socialist dogma, they Need race and class warfare to cover their true intent.
Teddy Roosevelt is extremely quotable when defining America as a nation of assimilated legal immigrants.

As long as the Republican party and the neo-cons continue to pursue a racist agenda, your going to hear about it. And if it brings them to their knees--fine. The rest of the country doesn't need them--or their bigotry.

There is nothing wrong with people of a given hethnic or national heritage keeping and enjoying tha theritage. The only people who have ever objected to this are the racists--because they only want THEIR heritage to be a part of American society. Well, their heritage is the slave ship, white supremecy, and hatred. Like I said, we don't need them.
