I really don't like the guy for the way he puts down on other people, mainly those who wants to be on American Idol. I find him to be pompus & arrogant & I hope someday that someone will put him in his place & say that he has no class at all. Who thinks that he's nothing more than a Horse's A**?

I'm not talking about his blunt honesty towards contestants, I'm talking about the man in general & why he acts like a Horse's A** in front of people in public.

He acts that way, because of his perception of himself is inflated. He has no more talent than the people he judges. He will get his just reward eventually. And it will be served coldly.

I think he is SMART. The only reason why most people watch that show is to see him put other people down. He created Pop Idol and American Idol to make money. When he got here and was slightly rude, the ratings went up. The ruder he was, the more ratings the show got. Its a business decision. He found something that works for making him a ton of money and he stuck with it. I call that smart. If we didn't watch him by the millions, he would have switched up his routine and been nicer. I say, do not blame him for giving the public what they want and what they continue to pay for, after all it is the way he makes money.

And also, in the real recording industry, they are 10 times worse than he can ever be. 20 times. So, he is just giving them a taste of what its like out there if they are serious about being in the music business.

most of the time hes being totaly honest. He does go a bit far at times but agin hes just being honest.
He called that guy a bush baby, that cracked me up and I hate to say it but he was right the guy did look like a bush baby.

I do think that from time to time hes just being a total wad. but what do i expect he sits there for hours listening to crap hes probly not in the best mood by the end of the day.

If you dont like it why watch the show???

yes he does have the right to say soemthing about the way someone looks, they are looking for more then a good voice. I have seem them tell many people no because they dont have the right look.

Attacking someone loooks when they come on to audition for a vocal spotlight is un called for, if they are not talented in the department that you are looking for let them know that they may need to get some schooling or help in that but to destroy them all over is so pathetic, I hate american idol and prefer to be one of the only smart Americans to choose not to promote hate

He is a product, packaged to be sold. They just got a bit of free publicity by even having this posting.
It's kind of like Howard Stern the shock jock got people to tune in just to hear what outrageous thing he said next.
Doesn't mean they are smart, or whatever, but they do get the viewers to tune in.

He is awesome... he tells it like it is and thats that. Too many people sugar coat things and he is brutally honest. It really is something that should be respected..

I think he is just brutally honest...Somebody has to let those people know they have no talent...since their families won't, and allow them to get on national TV and embarass the hell out of themselves....

He's just "Keeping It Real"!!!

He is paid well to be brutally honest.
He says what some of us wish we had the nerve to say.
One thing about it, he is never boring.
